Enveloped by majestic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, family-owned Raffaldini Vineyards brings Old World charm to the Old North State. The Raffaldini family, whose lineage stretches back to the 14th century, traces its origins to Mantua, Italy, where for generations the family produced wine on their family farm. The Raffaldini family chose the Swan Creek Region of North Carolina because the area closely resembles the winemaking region of Tuscany with rolling hills, rocky soil, gentle breezes and constant sun. From this vineyard, we handcraft our Italian wines; wines that express not only their “sense of place,” but also utilize winemaking skills that have been refined throughout the ages. |
Known as “Chianti in the Carolinas” Raffaldini Vineyards’ was named one of North Carolina’s most beautiful places by Our State Magazine and one of Wine Business Monthly’s Top Ten Hot Small Brands in North America. Our wines have earned praise from the Associated Press and national publications such as the Huffington Post, Cooking Light, Wine Enthusiast Magazine and others. Raffaldini Vineyards was also voted one of the Top Ten Wedding Venues in NC by The Knot magazine.
Raffaldini Vineyards currently produces Italian varietal wines including: Vermentino, Pinot Grigio, Sangiovese, Sangiovese Riserva and Montepulciano and Montepulciano Riserva; as well as Italian-style proprietary blends.
