Windsor Run Cellars is the only winery in North Carolina with a working distillery under the same roof. Tours of this facility are given daily. In the winery there is also a space for group and private tastings.
Windsor Run Cellars was founded in 2011. Originally this vineyard was named Buck Shoals but it was sold to the owners of Shadow Springs. Named for the main road that runs in front of the vineyard and the fact that we wanted to incorporate the moonshine heritage of the area, the name “Windsor Run” was born.

There is a “legal” working still in the winery from which we produce brandy from wine made in the winery. This brandy is used to fortify some wines sold at Windsor Run. The name was not the only thing to change. The back deck was enclosed doubling the size of the tasting room. A new 22ft bar was added to give our customer a more pleasant experience. |
