Shadow Springs Vineyard

Shadow Springs Vineyard is a family owned vineyard in the Swan Creek section of the Yadkin Valley. SSV was founded in January 2005 with the purchase of pristine farmland in Hamptonville, NC. Our first planting was in April of that same year with 4 acres, followed in 2006 with 6.5 acres more.
The vineyard is set up on an open lyre trellis system. This type of trellis system is rare in North Carolina but it is perfect for the vigorous soil at Shadow Springs. We believe strongly in the saying “Great Wine is made in the vineyard” and so far it is true because we have won multiple medals in many wine competitions.

The tasting room overlooks the vineyard and the two acre pond. It has state-of-the-art technology. With two floors and over 5,000 square feet, we can accommodate almost any size gathering. Shadow Springs has room downstairs for private tasting for up to 60 people. It is also available to rent for parties, weddings and business meetings. We give tours of the vineyard daily. |
